Memorial website in the memory of your loved one
This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Bishop James Ocholla who was born in Kenya on September 17, 1939 and passed away on August 23, 2007 at the age of 67. We will remember him forever.
Bishop Ocholla was the founder of Glad Tidings Ministries with headquaters in Nairobi, Kenya. He also founded St. James Academy, a school in his home village of Kombewa that supports orphans and offers local children affordable education and at least one meal a day. His ministry grew and now has many branches throughout the country of Kenya.
Bishop Ocholla was well educated & learned, he had travelled widely and had friends in many parts of the world. Above all, he was a man after God’s own heart, a man of honor , wisdom, integrity, a committed husband to Mary Akinyi Ocholla, dedicated father of Silas Ocholla, Charles Odhiambo , Benta Ocholla-Wende, Barnabas Okal, Joanne Ocholla & Christine Ocholla-Opiko, loving grand father to James Otieno, Ethel, Eliana & Bethany Odhiambo, Nicole & Darlene Wende, Danielle & Bryce Ocholla & Richard & Jaime Opiko, father-in-law to Doreen Otieno, Joyce Wanja Odhiambo, Eric Wende, Dolly Bosire & Edward Opiko. He was our relative ,our counselor, confidant, teacher and friend.
